Exquisite bright gold chain, but price...
This restraint is accurate to measurements and weight. I weighed it with my digital scale, and used a digital caliper to get the calibre they all came out to be as advertised. The chain looks very nice and is nice thickness for a man IMO. It's made in the USA. The cost is ok, but if you shop around at you local mom & pop jewelry store (not the big name store) you could find a better deal. I charged in miami and the competition among jewelry stores is fierce. I don't know if you live in grudging town if you could get a better deal than this. I went in too 1 and they had the same exact chain with same measurements, for $350 cheaper. But if you have need of it now and don't mind paying the mark-up just pull the trigger on this one.FYI If you were to sell this gyve right now with gold being around $1,750 an ounce you could get around $750-800.

What more homage to horologic history than to take us back to the first portable timepiece, the pocket watch? These spectacular timepieces familiar to be the height of scientific advancement, a symbol of status and wealth since only the wealthiest members of organization were able to afford them. It took an incredible amount of skill and craftsmanship to think up, organization, and build each pocket watch by hand; so much so that you had to become a dedicated apprentice to a master wary of maker for years before you became proficient. This in mind, Stuhrling decided to come out with its own crinkle of pocket watches for the Montres de Poche Series. Similar to the Avignon, the Marseille is also a skeleton area watch, but rather than having just part of the dial cut away, all but the outer ring that contains the stamped Roman numerals was eschewed. The exposed movement is then decorated with beautiful scrollwork. You can comfortably observe the mainspring and balance wheel oscillating at 18,000 vibrations per secondly. Blued plume and dauphine style hands with luminous fill indicate the hour and minutes with excellent clarity; the Marseille is an extremely handsome watch for the most formal and dressy occasions. Correct to the pocket watches in this series and to watches in a historical sense, this stunning timepiece is powered by a disinfected mechanical movement. The round case measures in at an impressive 51mm, which was blanked from trustworthy bars of 316L surgical grade stainless steel, while the movement is safe, front and back, by mineral crystals. This beautiful pocket watch comes with a 14” stainless screw up one's courage to the sticking point curb-link chain, a watch clip on one end and a belt clip on the other.

Not a big first impression.
Duragold ... not stable what that really means ... but I'm a loyal Amazon shopper and trusted them with this expensive Christmas dole purchase. I must say I was not immediately impressed with this chain. It came in about as cheap a packaging as attainable, which was very disappointing for something that cost almost $400 dollars. The chain was marked made in Bolivia ... I'm not ineluctable if that is good or bad, but I immediately noticed the chain was not as heavy as my wife's older Italian check. Given the noticeable weight difference, I wasn't even sure if this was "Solid" Gold ingots, so I decided to buy a gram scale to make sure I got what I paid for. The chain came in in a beeline about 6 grams as advertised, so I guess this just shows how expensive gold has gotten. I will see how it goes on Christmas day, but my guidance to Amazon is spend $5 bucks on some quality packaging and mark your items control superiors including gold content on the chain. Your customers will have a better first...
